Fitzrovia Hotel
Existing Newman Street View
Currently occupied by an uninteresting brick and stone office block, this site in fashionable Fitzrovia, more specifically what to do with the site, has been the subject of much discussion. Having won planning consent for a renewed office block in 2017, the owner changed course shortly thereafter, deciding the address would be served best by a new luxury hotel. We couldn’t agree more! Our design includes 100 guestrooms including 10 suites, a generous ground floor bar and restaurant, and 105 square metres of retail space, all serviced by a streamlined basement. The clean detailing of Portland stone, champagne-coloured aluminium and black fish-scale mansard roof combine to create a beautiful addition to the block. And the restrained elegance of the building’s architecture is in perfect harmony with the neighboring properties of Marylebone, Bloomsbury, and Mayfair.
