This expansion of a modest home for a growing family in south London, accommodates the family’s love of entertaining without compromising the privacy and formality prized in older homes.  By creating a large open-plan living and dining area, redesigning the home’s gable end to provide additional living space, and adding a glass balustrade to newly opened stairs, we completed a beautiful modern makeover resulting in significant additional floor area.
